What happens when it rains on your wedding day? Grab a few umbrellas and embrace it!
It was a rainy but romantic wedding day for these two sweethearts. Each got ready at their parents house, then Elyse walked down the aisle with her brother and Mother on each arm at St. Patrick’s Parish church in Markham.
Elyse & Russell (along with their wedding party) were so much fun to create images with, and we were able to find lots of neat spaces to shoot in trendy and urban Liberty Village in downtown Toronto, where there are luckily a lot of covered areas. We still got a little bit wet, but it was well worth it!
At one point we stopped into a lovely art gallery called 44 Wide, located in the heart of Liberty Village. The owners were very kind and let us take shelter from the rain while we shot a few romantic portraits of the Bride & Groom.
After Elyse & Russell were done posing for their alone portraits, it was time for an energetic and fun-filled wedding reception at Atlantis Pavilions at Ontario Place in Toronto. These two clearly love dancing (as do their guests) and everyone kept the dance floor packed all night!
This wedding is a great example of how we like to set up a photo booth during the reception and let the guests come take some fun photos – it always gets more interesting as the night goes on! Elyse & Russell even brought some hilarious photo booth props – check out the image below of the ladies rocking some for the camera! Please get in touch with us for more info about this complimentary photo booth option.
A big congratulations to the beautiful bride Elyse and her dashing new husband Russell – it was a real pleasure!
