I’m excited to share this colourful engagement session we shot in August for Ilana & Josh during The Ex in Toronto. The Toronto Exhibition is a Canadian institution, and it made for a fun spot for some unique engagement portraits.
This beautiful & happy couple are tying the knot later this year, and we had so much fun wandering around The Ex and finding all kinds of rides, games & food booths to make for some great backdrops. We even found some bleachers that allowed us to get up nice and high to shoot the gorgeous sunset in the sky.
My favourite part of the shoot has to be the night time images. What better place to shoot at night than the CNE? All the lights and colours looked amazing (loved the ferris wheel), and we had a great time posing Ilana and Josh and using flash and slow shutter speeds to really bring out the gorgeous colours and motion of The Ex.
