Sloan | 2011 Press Photo Shoot by Lisa Mark Photography

Most people know that I don’t only shoot weddings.  I also enjoy working with bands on both live concert photography, and press shots.  I have worked with the guys in the Canadian rock band Sloan a few times now, and it’s always a fun shoot.  Very laid back, and the guys are really open to my creative ideas, which is great.

Anyway, I shot these images back in December, and as it was freezing out I suggested Berkeley Church on Queen Street in Toronto as the shoot location.  Berkeley is great because it allowed us several different ‘looks’ within the same location – very convenient!  I LOVE the huge chandelier – probably one of my favourite images from the session.  I also would highly recommend it for wedding clients as a photo location.  The staff at Berkeley Church are a pleasure to work with.
