Lightning Storm in Milton on June 7, 2011

We had quite the lightning storm here in Milton last night!  Here is a shot I took from our kitchen window.  I just love thunder storms…they are just amazing.

Megs - That’s lightning? Thought it was miltons wifi conection lol :)

Thanks! It was shot with a Nikon D3S, 35mm 1.4 lens (stopped down to f10), 10 second exposure at 200 iso.

I propped the camera on my window sill as a makeshift tripod and used the long exposures to catch the lightning.
