I am thrilled to announce a new contest here at Lisa Mark Photography which opens today!  The Real Bride Model Search 2010 is now open for submissions.

You now have a chance to win a once-in-a-lifetime professional photoshoot of you in your wedding gown!  We are talking about cool, fashion-inspired photography of YOU in the most important and beautiful dress you’ll ever wear. These types of photos usually can’t be done on the wedding day due to schedule and location logistics, but this is your chance to wear the dress again and look FABULOUS!

To make you look and feel your very best, we will be working with two fantastic wedding industry professionals.  Melanie Sivitilli will be providing Professional Hair and Make-Up Services to the winner.  Bridal Styling by Ashley Braz will also be on-set with us during the winner’s photoshoot, helping you look absolutely stunning and chic!  We have some exciting ideas to share with our big winner!

The photoshoot will be taking place this summer in the Greater Toronto Area, and the winner chosen must be willing to come out with us for one full day.  Actual duration of the shoot has yet to be determined but will be at least 2 hours in length, or longer.

What are the prizes?

One lucky winner will receive:

- A professional photoshoot with Lisa Mark Photography (at least 2 hours in length, possibly longer)

- Hair and make-up by Melanie Sivitilli

- Bridal styling by Ashley Braz to finesse your look on-set

- A Gorgeous 5×5 Album of 20 images of your choice

- A 16×20 Canvas Wrap of your choice

How do I enter?

To enter, please email me at Lisa@LisaMarkPhotography.com with a photo of you WEARING your wedding dress (can be a snapshot from a fitting, or a proper wedding photo), showing your face and full body (if we can’t see your face in the full-length photo, please send a close-up too.)  We want to see how beautiful you look in your gown!  Please also write a short description (200 words or less) of why you want to win this contest!  All entries will be posted on the blog for visitors to vote for a grand prize winner.

Please remember that everyone is encouraged to enter.  This contest is for REAL BRIDES and I want real women to show me how AMAZING they look in their gowns!  All shapes and sizes are welcome to enter.

Who can enter?

Anyone who is currently married, or who will be getting married may enter.  You must have a wedding dress that still fits you as you will be posing in your gown during the photoshoot.  You do not need to be a client of Lisa Mark Photography to enter this contest.  The shoot will take place in the Greater Toronto Area, so you must reside in the GTA, or be willing to travel here this summer for the shoot date.

How will the winner be selected?

On Friday, April 30th at midnight, the contest will be closed to new entries and the voting will begin on May 1st, 2010.  The winner will be chosen by people who visit the blog and then vote for your entry.  So if you enter, the more people you tell to come and vote for your entry, the better chance you have to win!  The Real Bride with the most votes as of midnight on May 15th, 2010 will be the winner!

When is the entry deadline?

The deadline for all entries is Friday, April 30th, 2010 at midnight. The following day on May 1st, 2010, the entrants’ photos and text will be posted on the blog and voting will begin.  On May 15th, 2010 at midnight, the Real Bride with the most votes by the readers will win the grand prize.

Legal contest terms

By entering this contest you give permission to Lisa Mark Photography, Melanie Sivitilli and Ashley Braz to use your story, name (first name and last initial) and likeness/photographs for promotion and advertising.  The prizes cannot be exchanged for other products or services.  The winner will be determined by a poll on the Blog at LisaMarkPhotography.com and the decision of the winner will be final.  If the first winner does not wish to claim her prize, the next entrant with the most votes will be chosen, and so forth.
