If you regularly ready my blog, you may recall the last time I had the pleasure of shooting a Sloan show was during Canadian Music Week at the Mod Club. Well, I traveled out to Burlington along with Justin to shoot Sloan’s performance at the Sound of Music Festival on June 20, 2009. It was a rainy evening, but the fans sure didn’t care! They took to throwing toilet paper on-stage during the gig, but everyone took it in good humour (some vendor at the festival was giving out free samples of toiler paper…it was fated to happen…)
In between wiping my lenses clean from the rain, I actually got a few really cool shots when I missed a water droplet or two.
Thanks to Chris from Sloan for making it possible to shoot the whole show, which really allowed me to get a lot more material than the average “3 song rule” allows.

Maja - I love these! Especially the one of the shoes.
Laura - These are fantastic photo’s! I was there that night, and I’ll agree that Sloan definitely rocked the festival! These are amazing though, given the weather we had that night. Great job!
