I have always wanted to shoot Boudoir portraits outside among nature, however most clients (understandably) have reservations about getting into lingerie or other sexy outfits while outside a private room or studio. Therefore when Sarah (a fellow photographer friend of mine) contacted me and asked for outdoor Boudoir shots, I was quite excited to give it a go. Her parents have some land just North of Stouffville we were able to shoot on, and the vintage couch is one she recently bought, and it made an amazing prop!
The best part about Sarah’s session was the fact that she wanted a very retro feeling to the first set of images, a romantic feeling to the images in the middle, and for the last images she wanted a “doll” sort of look. Luckily she had her friend who is a professional hair and make-up stylist come out to the shoot and change up her hair & make-up for each part, and she really looked great.
This car is actually Sarah’s Dad’s 1960′s Corvette, and I love how perfectly it goes with Sarah’s outfit (carefully thought out, of course, and the pants are ‘Grease’ inspired!) I added some vintage aging to this first image which I think turned out amazingly well.
Thanks to Sarah for being such a fab model, and for allowing me to share these images with you!
